Assistant Store Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Assistant Manager of Sales and Service, you will support the management team in achieving goals by delivering world-class service and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will also oversee store supervision to ensure appropriate staff coverage and operational efficiency.

• Lead the store team to create an exceptional customer experience and exceed sales goals
• Ensure sales floor coverage and serve as a role model for sales associates by prioritizing customer service and sales generation
• Coach staff by reinforcing customer service principles and addressing performance
• Use Selling Essentials and training tools to enhance team product knowledge and sales skills
• Foster a positive environment that supports fairness and dignity for all associates in line with our People-First Philosophy
• Resolve client service issues promptly through effective use of client information reporting systems

Required Skills and Experience:

• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Superior critical thinking skills to identify challenges and develop timely solutions
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• 2–3 years of previous retail sales or management experience in a customer service-related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
• Capability to lift and mobilize items up to 75 lbs. using proper equipment and safety techniques
• Full-time associates should have open availability to meet business needs
• Part-time Flex associates must be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week, including two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts, with availability during annual inventory and the holiday season
