Role and Responsibilities

We are hiring a Merchandise Processor – Fabric Picking for ourDistribution Center. This role is responsible for accurately picking and handling fabric rolls and supporting material flow within the warehouse. Responsibilities include:

• Receive and split fabric rolls upon delivery.
• Weigh fabric rolls using system-assigned multipliers.
• Use handheld scanners to track and manage inventory movements.
• Label and palletize fabric rolls using printed identifiers.
• Unload materials from vendor trucks and containers.
• Pick fabric according to production demand schedules.
• Put away fabric in assigned locations using RF scanners.
• Use computers to retrieve material location data.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts and order pickers (Stand Up, Sit Down, Reach Truck).
• Ability to frequently lift and maneuver fabric rolls weighing 75 lbs. or more.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Basic computer and scanner proficiency.
• Comfortable operating an order picker at heights of 20 ft or more.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume warehouse setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
• Experience following standard operating procedures and maintaining quality standards.
